Mission & Goals

The main goal of all Muslims is to balance the spiritual and material aspects of this earthly life so that their actions lead them to heaven in the afterlife, by the Will and Mercy of Allah Almighty. To help mankind achieve this goal, our Creator has sent prophets with His Revealed Word as a guide. With the final prophet, Muhammad (May the Peace and Blessings of Allah be upon him) the office of prophethood was perfected and its function finally discharged and the Holy Quran stands for all time and for all peoples as the perfected word of Truth from Allah Himself. In order to obtain our goal of paradise we must plumb the depths of Quranic Wisdom and put into practice the guidelines for our lives. This can only be done if we comprehend what the Quran is telling us. Thusly, the knowledge of the Quran forms the core of Islamic education and knowledge.

What are the Quranic Sciences, you ask?
Well, my friends, there are 15 basic Quranic sciences.
As a Muslim we must be able to read the Quran in its original and pure Arabic form. For this purpose we must master the Science of Tajweed (Ilm-e-Tajweed). But we all know that is not enough. We must be able to understand the message the Quran is conveying to us since that is the main source of our guidance and inspiration. This revelation is not only for Muslims. This miracle of majesty and love is for all mankind, for all ages!
A thorough knowledge of the 15 sciences is absolutely necessary in order to fully understand and interpret the Quran. Of course, we may read the commentaries and interpretations of other scholars but to get the full effect of the deep spiritual, unifying and consciousness-awakening message we must learn, at least the basics of these disciplines ourselves.
